These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Ajima online course platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by Ajima (“Ajima,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Account Creation
1.1 You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Platform.
1.2 When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your account information updated.
1.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
1.4 Ajima reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information or violate these Terms.
2. Use of the Platform
2.1 The Platform is intended solely for educational and informational purposes related to Canadian immigration.
2.2 You agree not to:
Share, resell, sublicense, or transfer course access
Copy, reproduce, distribute, or record course content without written permission
Use the Platform for unlawful, misleading, or unauthorized purposes
2.3 Ajima reserves the right to restrict or revoke access if misuse or abuse is detected.
3. Course Content and Intellectual Property
3.1 All course materials, including videos, documents, presentations, recordings, logos, trademarks, and written content, are the exclusive intellectual property of Ajima unless otherwise stated.
3.2 No content may be copied, downloaded, distributed, or reused for commercial or non-commercial purposes without prior written consent.
4. Fees and Payments
4.1 Course fees are clearly displayed at the time of enrollment and must be paid in full before access is granted.
4.2 Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. Ajima does not store your payment card details.
5. Refund Policy (Strict No-Refund Policy)
5.1 All course fees are final and non-refundable.
5.2 Once payment is made for a course, no refunds, cancellations, credits, or transfers will be issued, regardless of:
Non-completion of the course
Change of personal circumstances
Dissatisfaction with content
Technical issues not attributable to Ajima
5.3 By enrolling in a course and making payment, you expressly acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy.
6. No Immigration or Legal Advice Disclaimer
6.1 Courses provided on the Platform are for educational purposes only.
6.2 Course content does not constitute legal advice, immigration advice, or representation, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice specific to your situation.
6.3 Enrollment in a course does not create a consultant-client or lawyer-client relationship.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ajima shall not be liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of data, income, or opportunity
Decisions made based on course content
7.2 Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
8. Platform Availability and Modifications
8.1 Ajima may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform or course content at any time without prior notice.
8.2 Ajima is not responsible for temporary unavailability due to maintenance, system upgrades, or technical issues beyond its control.
9. Termination
9.1 Ajima reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform without refund if you breach these Terms.
9.2 Upon termination, your right to access course materials will immediately cease.
10. Privacy
10.1 Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, and protected.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
